  We went to Jake's on a Saturday afternoon, so it probably wasn't the best time to be there. There was quite a wait just to order; however, the wait to get food was outrageous. We waited 50 minutes to get our food, and then the order was wrong. We ordered one burger with onion rings and a side order of onion rings. We got a burger with fries and a side of onion rings. However, in retrospect, we were glad we got the fries, because the onion rings were almost inedible. They were very greasy, and the batter was very sweet. While some may like that, we don't.
  
  After getting the food, my son got a table with the food and I went to the window where shakes are delivered. I wait about 5 minutes (while my food was getting cold), then gave up. I didn't want cold food. I finally heard our number for the shakes about 15 minutes later. We were almost finished eating at that point. Had I waited for the shakes, my food would not have been edible at all.
  
  After finishing my food, I asked for a manager and was told there was no manager on duty. The person who talked to me asked if I would rather have my food order replaced or a partial refund. There was no way I wanted to wait another hour for a replacement order, which I told him. He gave us a partial refund. He also said they had a near-complete staff turnover in the previous two weeks. For this reason, I give the restaurant two stars instead of one. The food was just passable but overpriced, in my opinion. The shakes were good.

  Want fast food without the fast? Interested in flavorless onion rings and food that you need to season yourself? Then this is the place for you!
  I'm convinced that the location is the only thing keeping this place in business. The wait to even order the food was about 20 minutes long. We then sat around for a solid HOUR to get our food. Within the timeframe of us arriving and us leaving, they only brought out 13 orders of food. People are literally standing around waiting for an hour to get their food.
  This was irritating, but not enough to put me over the edge. The real topper was that the food was nothing more than something a lowly fast-food place would serve. Nothing was seasoned so it all tasted bland and most of my friends couldn't even finish the meal because it was making us sick to our stomachs.
  All in all, the food was disgusting, the wait was ridiculous, and the quantity of food we got in each order was crazy small compared to the price. HOWEVER, the chocolate banana shake I got was pretty good. Even though the shake came 40 minutes before my food came out.

  The shakes are excellent. They use hard ice cream and good ingredients. And when you stand in line for a shake for an hour, at least here you are in the shade. They have plenty of seating in the shade, or on the patio on top.

  There is no one waiting to take your order. When they bring the people waiting there food they tell them we are waiting. While we are waiting some people come up and wait so long to order they think it's closed. I told them think only 1 person if working. Turns out after getting our good and eating at least 4 people are working. I didn't think the raspberry cheesecake shake was good. My husband said it was okay. I ordered a burger it was edible. I also ordered cheese fries there was a lot of cheese but the fries are far from the best. My husband ordered chicken tenders and said they were okay. He didn't care for the fries.
